I am a nature
wonderer and wanderer
The natural world is full of mystery, intrigue, beauty and drama and there are so many things to see and experience.
I have always had a fascination for it. I grew up having long road trips, in hot cars, to remote campsites and destinations all over Australia. To the beaches, the mountains, from the outback to the coastline. I thought this was somewhat of a cliched upbringing that every ‘Australian’ child had experienced. But, as I’ve grown older, I have come to realise that this is not so.
Sky Land Sea Creations is a collection of art, stories, photographs, haiku and more. All created with the aim of inspiring wonder for the natural world. I draw on my childhood experiences, my 30+ years working in conservation and protected area management, and my current observations from random wonderings and wanderings.
With great anticipation, I am currently working on my first children’s picture book. And yep … it has a nature theme.
